This one hour in person or live virtual training equips attendees with practical, ready-to-implement strategies to increase student participation and engagement. Participants will deepen their understanding of how students learn differently and learn how to intentionally apply reinforcement and visual supports to enhance comprehension, motivation, and overall success—particularly during non-preferred or challenging activities.
What attendees will learn:
- Understand how learning differences impact students with diverse abilities performance and participation in PE.
- Examine the role of reinforcement in increasing motivation, skill development, and game play engagement for students with diverse abilities.
- Learn how and when to use visual supports in PE to enhance comprehension, independence, and overall participation.
